Terms of Service
Last updated:
MCK Strategy LLC owns and operates Corps Navigator. By creating an account or using Corps Navigator, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Notice, and the Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement, and use the service only for lawful professional purposes. Corps Navigator is not directed to children.
Independent research tool
Corps Navigator is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official channel of HHS or the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. It does not replace an ethics official, supervisor, personnel office, attorney, or the official Commissioned Corps Issuance System (CCIS).
AI answers and source verification
Answers and reports are generated with language models and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. The indexed corpus is a working corpus: some source records are raw, unreviewed, or draft transcriptions, and a source refresh can finish with upstream errors. Review status and known refresh gaps are disclosed in the product.
Open every material citation and compare it with the linked official source. Treat an answer without a usable citation as unverified. You remain responsible for decisions made from the service and for obtaining official guidance when required.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for accurate account information, credential security, and activity under your account. Do not bypass access controls or rate limits, probe other users' data, upload unlawful or infringing material, interfere with the service, or use it to build a competing redistribution of the indexed corpus.
Uploads, reports, and share links
Only upload material you are permitted to process. Officer uploads can contain sensitive personnel information and may be sent to the AI provider selected for the task. Direct uploads are limited to 4 MB in the current deployment. Tool-specific retention, deletion, and redaction behavior is described in the Privacy Notice.
Career Graph share links are accessible to anyone who has the link unless you add a password. You are responsible for the people with whom you share a link and should revoke it when no longer needed.
Credits, purchases, and refunds
- Paid usage is metered in credits; $1 buys 100 credits.
- Credit purchases are one-time purchases, not recurring subscriptions.
- Credits do not expire under the current product terms and have no cash value.
- Before a metered task runs, the service displays an estimate or maximum. A failed AI task is not charged unless a durable successful result exists.
- The whole-credit unused portion of a purchase may be eligible for a refund requested within 14 calendar days, subject to the Refund Policy and applicable law.
- Consumed credits are nonrefundable except for a service error or when applicable law requires otherwise. Duplicate or erroneous charges will be corrected.
Review the Refund Policy before purchasing credits. Eligible refunds ordinarily return to the original payment method where feasible.
If you connect your own provider key for Ask or Board Simulator, you are also responsible for that provider account and its charges. Other officer tools use administrator-configured models.
Availability and changes
Features, model availability, source coverage, limits, credit pricing, and retention settings may change. We may suspend access needed to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, or maintain the service. Material legal changes will be reflected by the updated date above and may require renewed acceptance.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided as an informational research tool, not a guarantee of a particular personnel, promotion, benefits, or administrative outcome. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
Disputes, governing law, and venue
Before filing a claim, you and MCK Strategy LLC will send written notice describing the dispute and requested resolution and make a good-faith effort to resolve it for 30 calendar days. This notice process does not prevent either party from bringing an eligible claim in small claims court or seeking urgent relief when delay would cause irreparable harm. These Terms do not require mandatory arbitration.
Florida law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to a court's jurisdiction, disputes must be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Bay County, Florida, or the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, Panama City Division.
